Event Description

GEM University Webinar: Verifying GEM Applicants who have applied to your Institution

University Members! The deadline to verify GEM Applicants that have applied to your Institution is February 1st!

All 2019 Complete GEM Applicants, who are not currently matriculating in a PhD program, are required to apply to a minimum of three (3) GEM Member University graduate STEM departments by January 15th (or by the posted department deadline , if earlier) to be considered for a GEM Fellowship.

Beginning January 16th, we ask that a GEM Representative at your University log into
eGEM, click on Verify Applicants, and inform us if the students listed on this custom screen actually “applied” or “did not apply” to a graduate STEM program at your institution. We ask that all member universities complete this action by February 1, 2019!

To assist GEM representatives that are new to the verification process or need a refresher, GEM is offering a webinar to walk through the steps needed to complete this important applicant verification task in eGEM.  Information on the webinar is provided below.
